Case Study: Amazon Recruitment Campaign, Denver
The Challenge
In 2018, Amazon approached The Denver Post to place a single $5,000 quarter-page color ad. The real need was much bigger: 130 hires in the Denver market, including 30 positions that required top-level security clearance.
The Strategy
Andie Howard saw that one print ad would not fill those roles. She proposed a full recruitment marketing campaign and built it around a live hiring event at The Denver Post's building. Applicants got free parking, and Amazon flew in its recruiters to interview candidates on site.
The Results
All 130 positions were filled, including every one of the 30 security-clearance roles.
